When a Sonoma-area maker of sparkling wine planned an upgrade to its entire chiller system and utility service, they didn’t realize that the project couldn’t be completed in time for crush season.
In order to stay on their harvest and crush schedule, they needed a temporary solution they could count on.
Aggreko was engaged to supply power to the company’s chiller system and two electrical panels. The Aggreko solution included a chiller rental with pumps, a surge tank with generator rental, and multiple cable runs
The chiller package was used to supply a 35°F glycol solution at 500 gpm for the fermentation tank jacket cooling system. The generator was used to power the Aggreko system and the customer’s entire production process, including compressors, pumps and machinery.
During the winemaker’s system outage, Aggreko provided power and cooling throughout their harvest season – ensuring another good year for their sparkling wine production.
