3 February 2016: SAN FRANCISCO – When the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers go head to head in the gridiron showdown for the ages on Sunday, Aggreko, the world leader in modular, mobile power and temperature control solutions, will be behind the scenes generating power for the stadium.

Aggreko will provide large-scale power generation and HVAC assistance for the golden anniversary of America’s largest national football championship game taking place in Santa Clara, CA at Levi’s® Stadium on Feb. 7, 2016.

Aggreko equipment will heat and cool, and generate power for the entire 68,500-seat Gold LEED-certified stadium, which has the ability to expand to seat an additional 6,500 observers. The company will also power several marquee events and provide support services including: seven-time Grammy® Award-winning band Coldplay’s halftime show, the broadcast and international media compounds, Super Bowl City, The Friday Night Party at Treasure Island and the NFL Honors Red Carpet. It’s the 26th time Aggreko has been involved in the national football championship game.

“For 26 years Aggreko has provided temporary power and temperature control solutions for the national football championship game,” said David Prince, senior events project manager of Aggreko Events Services.  “We are honored to be part of the game’s “golden anniversary” and support the many installations required to give spectators an experience they will never forget at this milestone event.”

Aggreko’s major events division, Aggreko Event Services, will provide: 16 MW of temporary power;
1,400 KW of electric heat; engineered cooling solutions for the big game and the surrounding VIP and hospitality venues; a crew of 12 technicians to manage the installation and operations; including hundreds of accessories, including panels, transformers and about 250,000 ft. of cable.

The company’s technical experts will monitor the installation via the proprietary Aggreko Remote Monitoring (ARM) – a real-time monitoring and diagnostic service - to ensure everything runs to peak efficiency.

Aggreko is widely known for supporting custom-engineered temporary power and temperature control solutions for large-scale events, such as the Olympic Games, Pan American/Parapan American Games, PGA Tour, Tour de France, Ryder Cup, and FIFA World Cup. For more information, visit
