Aggreko to Speak on Benefits of Power Automation at 2016 Well Site Facilities Onshore Conference
September 27th 2016: Houston –Increased operational efficiencies and fuel cost savings, are among the benefits of using generators equipped with power automation systems, says Aggreko’s Forrest Marsh, one of the speakers at the 2016 Well Site Facilities Onshore Conference.
Aggreko, the world leader in power generation and temperature control, is seeing an increase in the number of oil and gas customers looking to reduce wasteful spending practices and leverage innovative technologies that right-size power load and satisfy stringent economic requirements.
Marsh, oil and gas manager for Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma at Aggreko, said: “We have seen an increase in our customers’ willingness to leverage power automation systems, such as those placed on our generators, due to their ability to provide power only when needed and lower fuel costs and unplanned maintenance expenditures. I look forward to discussing how the oilfield can leverage a power automation system into their current well production designs and realize the operational benefits.”
The 2016 Well Site Facilities Onshore Conference will take place Sept. 28-29, at The Westin Galleria Houston. Marsh is scheduled to speak Sept. 29 from 12:10 p.m. - 12:40 p.m. during Stream A on: Innovating Game-Changing Efficiencies to Yield Cost Reductions in Facility Design. Aggreko also has a second representative speaking at the conference, Mike Mayers, business development manager – Denver at Aggreko. Mayers is also scheduled to speak Sept. 29 from 12:10 p.m. - 12:40 p.m., but during Stream B on: Properly Engineering Scalability with Micro-Grids in Facility Design Improves the Bottom Line Through Right-Sizing.
