Raise money for critical relief efforts after bushfires plague Australia
The recent bushfires in Australia affected the entire country, consuming nearly 15 million acres of land – home to many indigenous species – and destroying approximately 1,400 homes.
Recovery efforts were taking place even as the fires burned, but to help the people and animals left without a home – it would take something extraordinary, involving the support and collaboration of many.
The Firefight Australia concert at the ANZ stadium would provide the answer.

Aggreko were already involved in helping put out the fires – we sent a truck 1680 kilometres to boost the fight against the bushfires, which was filled with generators to help those at the front end.
So, it made sense that our experts and equipment were involved in the Firefight Australia concert.
It would be held at the ANZ stadium, which can hold up to 75,000 fans. From the moment the box office for tickets opened, within 24 hours the event was sold out.
To put on a show headlined with global superstars, reliable power would be mandatory.
We provided 3000 kVA, which included the main stage all the way through to broadcasting, as well as ancillaries and a dedicated team on site to ensure the lights shined brightly and the cameras kept rolling
