Aggreko's website is shortlisted for award
Aggreko’s new website, aggreko.com, has been nominated in the User Experience UK Awards 2017 (UXUK 2017) that recognise digital innovation and excellence in user-focused design.
Aggreko’s website was developed in conjunction with top London-based design agency, Rufus Leonard, to offer customers and website visitors a best-in-class user experience.
Aggreko is the global leading provider of mobile, module power generation and heating and cooling, serving more than 100 countries around the world, and industries including mining, events, manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical and refining and utilities.
Its new global website went live in March 2017, after a year in development. It is being translated into more than 20 languages to serve its global business.
The sites follow best practice in website design, and ensure accessibility and ease of read for visually-impaired visitors.
“Our user-friendly site is easy to navigate and designed with our customers first and front of mind,” said Benjamin Camus, Digital Strategy Manager for Aggreko.
“Our entire business is built on helping people, so we wanted to ensure anyone who clicks on us knows we can provide a first class service, and that includes our website. My team and I are delighted that our site has been recognised by the UXUK Awards.”
Other nominees include Barclays Bank, BT TV, EasyJet and EDF Energy.
UXUK began in 2013 and this year’s awards are bigger than ever. The judges in each category comprise people from Sony Playstation, Google and Lloyds Banking Group.
Categories include Best User Experience, Best Innovation and Best Information Experience. The winners in all categories will be announced at a ceremony in London on 9 November.
