Aggreko cools largest Middle East boat show event

· Aggreko installed the temperature control equipment in parallel with the construction of the marquees reducing the overall project set-up time

· Largest ever boat show in Middle East required climate control solutions for three interconnected marquees.

· Aggreko provided 5.6MW cooling equipment and 5.2MW power package for Dubai International Boat Show 2007

March 2007 – Aggreko plc, global leader in providing temporary power generation and temperature control services, was contracted by the Dubai World Trade Centre to supply temperature control equipment and services for the 2007, Dubai International Boat Show. This is the fourth consecutive year that Aggreko has provided its specialist expertise for the exhibition of leisure boats, equipment and services in the Middle East.

Under the contract, Aggreko supplied temperature control equipment services for the five-day event. The equipment was specifically designed to cool three interconnected exhibition marquees (80x75x6mtrs, 80x50x6mtrs and 80x30x6mtrs). Aggreko engineers and technicians carefully designed and developed a solution for the client that aimed at maintaining the internal temperature at 23 – 25ºC and utilised a fifty percent return air method to increase the efficiency of cooling.

Aggreko equipment was installed and commissioned alongside the installation of the marquees to deliver cooling and temperature control in time for the event opening. It was their ability to set up the equipment in this short time period which led to their selection.
