New Location for Aggreko in Sarnia
Leader in Power Rental Expands in Area
SARNIA, ON (May 27, 2009) – Aggreko, the
global leader in
rental power,
temperature control and
oil-free compressed air solutions, has moved its centre of
operations in Sarnia to improve the service it provides to local
customers. The new, bigger site, located in the main building
at 396 McGregor Side Road, comprises 7500 square feet of shop and
office space with a spacious compound to house equipment
inventory.
“Our new location will allow storage for more
rental fleet, even greater capacity for testing equipment set-ups
prior to installation, as well as a more extensive accessory
inventory. This will enable us to respond to our customers’
needs more quickly,” said Ed Ray, Sales Representative for Aggreko
in Sarnia. “We are thrilled to be able to provide even better
service and emergency response to our customers 24 hours a day, 7
days a week.”
Aggreko has been in Sarnia since December
1999, predominately serving the refining and utility
industries. The company has recently expanded its operations
in Canada, acquiring the highly regarded Alberta-based rental power
specialist Power Plus Rentals and Sales (Power Plus) in August 2008
to support the oil and gas industries of Western Canada.
Aggreko has a long track record supporting
major oil and gas, refining and utility operations all over the
world, from Dubai to the UK, South America and the US. “The
increased demand for services like ours in Canada combined with our
experience and support resources makes the Sarnia expansion a
particularly important initiative,” said George Walker, President

temporary power and temperature control for The Vancouver 2010
