15 years with Aggreko
I joined Aggreko in October 1984 in Scotland, where I worked as an apprentice in Research & Development but moved to field service, specialising in offshore applications. I left Aggreko in 1991 to become a Freelance Field Support Engineer only to rejoin in 1995 as Senior Site Electrical Engineer for the Sri Lanka contract until 1997 and, on completion of the contract, relocated to the Middle East as Technical Engineer.
Two years later I was promoted to Regional Service Manager for Aggreko Middle East (AME) covering 8 depots through GCC. After transferring to Aggreko International Power Projects Ltd as Technical Manager in 2001, I now hold the position of Products Manager for the International division(AI consists of AME & AIPP) and, currently produce designs and specifications for Aggreko Power Products i.e. generators, transformers, distribution equipment etc.
