Aggreko awarded Supply Contract by Euro 2008

Aggreko, the global leader in the rental of power, temperature
control and oil-free compressed air systems has been awarded
several contracts to provide temporary power, heating, ventilation,
air conditioning (HVAC) and water services in the eight venues for
UEFA EURO 2008™ football championships beginning on June 7th.
This summer Aggreko will move over 100 trucks of equipment for
the event, to the following cities in Austria & Switzerland:
Vienna, Salzburg, Klagenfurt, Innsbruck, Basle, Geneva, Bern and
Zurich.
Aggreko will provide:
- Uninterruptible power and electrical distribution for all
broadcast facilities and the Accreditation centres in the eight
venues
- Temporary main and backup power, electrical distribution and
air-conditioning, water and waste water management for all
hospitality facilities in the eight venues
A project team has been working on this project for the past two
years. Aggreko will have a team of 80 people to install & run
the event, with over 40 environmentally-friendly generators, 14MW
of cooling, 150km of electrical cable and 350 electrical
distribution panels.
