• Energy as a Service (EaaS)- similar to a PPA offering the most flexible tailored contract terms such as shorter duration, convenient payment terms, the ability to evolve and introduce new power technologies over the duration of the contract. We’ll guarantee performance, power availability, heat rate, fuel efficiency as well as your technology evolution. And ultimately, give you complete peace of mind with predictable consistent power pricing.
• IPP / PPA Agreements - we can also offer our energy services as Independent Power Purchase (IPP) or Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) style arrangements where we also incorporate obtaining land, permitting, fuel supply or virtual fuel supply for longer project durations such as +5 years. Unlike a traditional PPA, our truly flexible agreement removes the risk of being locked in should your mine need to terminate early as a result of hardship, or market conditions change.
• Power asset ownership - we also offer the BOOM (Build, own, operate and maintain) and BOOT (Build, own, operate & transfer) model where the power assets remain the property of Aggreko and we operate / maintain them for you for an agreed period of time, after which it is sold to our customer– sometimes an ‘option’ and sometimes pre-agreed to take place at the end of the contract for agreed price.
