Industrial dehumidifier

If excess moisture threatens your operation, our industrial dehumidifiers will keep things dry no matter how big the space

High humidity can corrode electronics, prevent newly poured concrete drying and cause equipment to rust. Floods and leaks can also wreak havoc – costing you time and money.

Our dehumidifiers can be used to:

  • Prevent metal corrosion
  • Reduce drying times for concrete, insulation and fireproofing
  • Reduce mould and mildew growth
  • Dry out water-damaged commercial buildings
  • Prepare surfaces and vessels for painting and coating applications
  • Blanket equipment to protect from humid air
  • Maintain correct ambient conditions for floor laying
  • Aid processes, such as stabilising or preserving food products
  • Preserve equipment on laid up oil rigs or vessels

We have two types of dehumidifier – desiccant and refrigerated – so we can recommend the best one for your needs. And because we keep equipment on standby at our worldwide locations we can get them to you fast – no matter how big your emergency.

Desiccant dehumidifiers

Our desiccant dehumidifiers perform well at low temperatures and in cold climates. They’re ideal for outdoor use and in places where electricity is limited because they can be run using natural gas, propane, or steam heating.

They work by using silica gel – a desiccant material that attracts moisture from gases and liquids. The moisture is retained within the silica gel and is released again when heated.

We custom-manufacture our desiccant dehumidifiers with an internal silica gel wheel. The wheel rotates slowly, drawing air into the gel, which retains the moisture. The dried air is then blown back into the room or building. The wheel is then heated, which vaporises the trapped moisture, allowing it to be blown outside of the building.

These dehumidifiers are perfect for manufacturing or construction use, such as reducing the drying time for wet concrete, speeding up painting and coating operations, or minimising corrosion.
