The data centre market continues to boom-Forecasts suggest a period of sustained growth for edge data centres, with one analyst predicting the market’s total value to reach $19.1 billion by2026 – up from $7.2 billion in 2021. Despite this, the industry continues to face challenges, from understanding the most secure and reliable green energy technologies to fluctuating power and unplanned downtime.
Working with Censuswide, Aggreko commissioned qualitative interviews of key data centre workers to understand the priorities and expectations of those working inside the data centre. Participants included energy managers, facilities managers, managing directors, edge data centre owners and consultants.
