Efficient cooling and power solutions for the annual global wrestling events at the Superdome, Jeddah

Stonewall required power and cooling solutions for their upcoming major events at the Superdome in Jeddah. With the live event watched by over 15,000 in person and broadcasted globally, Aggreko was trusted to provide a critical energy supply. The client needed 5,350 kVA of power and 35 five-ton cooling units to power the entire project and keep the venue cool. The 5,350 kVA of power was to cover both the event power and the power needed for the build. There were a number of challenges to consider throughout the project, including the high amount of energy needed to power the audio, video, and lighting equipment. This meant that the client would need the help of a load bank to manage load fluctuations and make sure the power kept running throughout. Additionally, long cable runs were needed to cover the site due to the sheer scale of the venue.
