Our customer required precise pipeline drying after hydrotesting to prevent corrosion and maintain gas purity. Aggreko deployed a fully certified, high-performance compressed air dryer that met all the technical requirements. The solution was supported by expert training and rapid response, to meet the demanding needs of pipeline drying on Das Island.

High-performance equipment: we supplied oil-free air (OFA) compressor and air dryer systems capable of achieving a -40°C dew point and 60 m/sec air velocity, ensuring optimal pipeline drying.
Certified and compliant: delivered Zone 2-certified equipment with ADNOC Offshore-approved lifting hooks, ADNOC Gas approved TPI certifications, and ATEX-approved Chalwyn valves and spark arrestors.
Calibration and documentation: Supplied official calibration certificates for the manifold and all measurement instruments, confirming their accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
On-site training: Conducted hands-on training for Target Engineering personnel in Abu Dhabi to ensure safe and effective equipment operation.
Maintenance support: Provided general maintenance spares for offshore operations to address potential equipment breakdowns and maintain reliability.
Rapid response: Aggreko’s team quickly confirmed compliance with all specifications and delivered the equipment on schedule, supporting the customer’s project timeline.
