The Red Bull Air Race was in Japan for the third year running and the world's watching. So with hundreds of thousands of local fans and millions of global viewers, the stage was set for a winning event.

Aircraft technicians, the media, organisers and pilots – everyone – needed reliable power.

Safety is our watchword, and power failure is just not an option. So we designed a package that ensured continuous, reliable, and safe power - fully integrated with the television compound, race tower and hangars - so the race could go on seamlessly.

The Impact

Power to host a high-profile event that stunned its audiences

Uninterrupted power to the tower, so race directors could keep pilots on course. The media enjoyed faultless broadcast streaming, and the fans were happy too. The added bonus was another win for Japanese pilot, Yoshihide Muroya.

What a result!

Once again, it was an effective collaboration between Aggreko’s professional team and our international team. The Aggreko team did an excellent job providing critical power and expert support, allowing the entire event to run smoothly and without a hitch.
