The Challenge
Temporary power for a single day music festival
Bass in the Grass is a unique single-day music festival promoted by the Northern Territory government featuring homegrown and local talent.
Located on the Mindil Beach Reserve, the logistics of installing the necessary power had previously proved tricky.
Combined with a tight moving artists and production equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic, the organisers needed a power provider they could trust to ensure the event ran as smoothly as possible.

The Solution
Flexible generator fleet with onsite technical support
After a thorough analysis of the requirements for the event, our experts drew up a plan that would cover all the separate areas and ensure they had all the power they needed throughout the festival.
We installed a total of 24 generators running from 20 kVA to 200 kVA, along with all the necessary distribution boards and cabling.
We also provided onsite technical support for 12 hours during the festival to guarantee the power supply to the 2 main stages and food and drink vendors, events offices, security, police, and backstage areas.
