A new data centre was under construction, but uncertainty around
the availability of utility power created a critical risk to both
commissioning and live operations. With deadlines fast
approaching, our customer needed a reliable temporary power
solution that could be deployed fast. Without compromising
compliance, performance or reputation.
Failure to secure power in time would have resulted in significant
financial penalties, reputational damage and potential loss of future
business. At the same time, local regulations required a
low-emissions solution, while strict noise limits meant a full noise
study and mitigation measures were essential.
Adding complexity, the project timeline was extremely tight. While
our customer needed the solution delivered and operational at
speed, they also required the same level of documentation, testing
and commissioning rigor expected of a permanent installation.
As construction progressed, requirements continued to evolve,
demanding flexibility in power levels and configuration throughout
different project stages.
