Introducing our new Stage V certified oil-free air compressors

What is a Stage V?

Stage V certification, introduced by the EU under Regulation 2016/1628, is an emissions standard for non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) equipped with spark/compression ignition engines. This standard aims to significantly reduce particulate matter and other harmful emissions. It builds upon previous regulations and requires advanced controls like diesel particulate filters (DPF) to be integrated into new NRMM.

To help our customers comply with these standards and significantly reduce emissions we have invested in a new range of Stage V certified oil-free air compressors.

Stage V certified oil-free air compressors can reduce harmful emissions like Carbon, NOx, HC and PM by up to 90% in comparison to non emissionised sets.

How does a Stage V certified air compressor engine minimise emissions?

Our Stage V air compressors use several key components to achieve lower emissions:

·      Diesel particulate filter (DPF): Removes diesel particulate matter (soot) from the exhaust gas.

·      Diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC): Oxidizes engine exhaust to generate heat and reduce emissions.

·      Selective catalytic reduction (SCR): Uses advanced active emissions control technology to inject Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) through a special catalyst, reducing NOx emissions.

·      DEF/AdBlue tanks: Includes internal tank matched to fuel capacity and optional external tanks to extend on-site refill intervals.
