Carrying out load bank testing to keep commissioning on track
Trusting our expertise and capability
No fuss, no delays
Thoroughly testing power systems before commissioning helps prevent issues and project delays.
Our data centre customer chose us to test their 8 generators and UPS units (Uninterruptible Power Supply), with zero tolerance for delays or interruptions during this critical phase. Our equipment also had to be delivered on-site within two weeks.
Thanks to our technical expertise and large equipment fleet, we quickly developed an action plan. We supplied a 6 MVA load bank with 50 metres of 55x240 mm² powerlock cables and matching tails.
Mounted on a trailer, the load bank could be moved easily around the facility, allowing our work to continue alongside other contractors. Each of the eight generators and UPS units was tested individually to guarantee robust, consistent performance.
Working to precise timings, our equipment was on-site within 2 weeks for the agreed 6 month period.
We carried out full testing of all the generators and uninterruptible power supply systems, ensuring commissioning could take place with no fuss or costly delays.
