Our customer, a media production company, were filming an exciting new TV series at their UK studios, in the height of summer temperatures. Unfortunately, the stage they were using didn’t have any on-site cooling (HVAC). We were challenged to provide an efficient, temporary solution.There was limited location space, so we had to be adaptable, while noise would have to be kept to a minimum in what was a live studio environment.

The Solution
Delivering a fast, quiet, efficient cooling solution – when the heat was on
Cool environmental conditions are vital for studios, workshops and behind-the-scenes areas to ensure a high-quality working environment for artists, creative and technical staff. So, it was essential we provided a solution, before the cameras started to roll. Our experts quickly identified our own star performers. A 200kW chiller and 2 x 130KW air handling units, all powered by a 200kVA generator. Thanks to their modular design, this mobile cooling package could be rapidly deployed, with delivery and installation completed within just two days.
