How flexible energy models are essential to support UK manufacturing through the energy crisis
As part of our new industry report - The Power Struggle - in April 2022, we surveyed over 250 key energy decision-makers across industry on their views on decentralised energy in the UK, and how these views differ from our research conducted 3 years ago.
The intention is to identify opportunities where flexible bridging power solutions can better support manufacturers – a key trend identified by Gartner in its recent sector overview.
While decentralised power cannot solve complex issues around national infrastructure and energy supply, further deployment does offer a credible path to support manufacturers manage demand and cost base whilst enabling additional revenue streams.
