Our commitment to investing in sustainable technologies and techniques
At Aggreko we are supporting companies on their decarbonisation journey by providing newer technologies and techniques which lower carbon emissions and deliver fuel savings. This initiative is called Greener Upgrades.
Our multimillion-pound investment in our equipment and services includes a new fleet of Stage V generators and hybrid batteries, as well as offering hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) as a drop-in fuel. Coupled with our consultative approach our team can ensure the right solution for your business to help you reach your carbon reduction targets.
Through Greener Upgrades, we have also expanded our chiller fleet with a Very Low Temperature Chiller (VLTC) that runs on CO₂ (R774) an ultra-low GWP refrigerant, and a new 1.5MW water cooled chiller, running on lower GWP refrigerant (R513A).
We are working with industry leaders in our key sectors to trial these products in real life applications. Not only does this support you, our customers, in reducing your environmental impact, it also in many cases helps reduce your costs.
