We received a call from an environmental services contractor working with one of Europe’s largest steelmakers. The steelmaker had experienced a transformer breakdown and couldn’t access sufficient grid electricity to power five compressors at their mill. Since compressed air is key to increasing the application efficiency and quality of the end-product, it was essential that we were able to deliver a solution, fast. Based on our previous projects, our customer put their trust in us, as the only company that could deliver this high-voltage bespoke solution, within the time-constraints available

We got to work fast. Assembling a team of expert engineers from France and Spain to design a complete solution, within just 24 hours. By incorporating the latest 1250 kVA generators, 6300 kVA transformers, almost 130,000 litres tank capacity and 4KM of cabling, we could power each of the five compressors with redundancy. All watched over by 24/7 remote monitoring. Our customer gave us the green light the next day. Thanks to joined-up logistics between our European operational teams, we were able to quickly mobilise our fleet, with the first equipment arriving on site within days.
