Powering your potential: end-to-end electrical distribution solutions
Eliminate the need for generators: optimize grid power utilization with our electrical distribution solutions
When grid power is available, we design, install, and commission an engineered electrical distribution solution that can help you leverage the grid and distribute the energy wherever it is needed, all while reducing emissions and costs and improving reliability.
We’d put the reliability of our generators up against any solution in the market today. But the grid is still more dependable than any rotating piece of equipment. A temporary electrical distribution solution can provide the necessary conduit to transfer energy from the grid with no carbon-added equipment and no fuel costs – giving you access to energy while supporting your sustainability. By working with us, you’ll be able to rent all the equipment you need – from switchgear to low-voltage panels, transformers, and everything in between.
With the largest and most diverse fleet of specialty electrical distribution equipment in North America, we combine technology and engineering expertise to design tailor-made temporary distribution solutions that address your unique needs:
Reduce total energy spend by cutting or eliminating fuel cost
Improve reliability by connecting to house power and reducing the need for rotating equipment
Reduce your carbon footprint by using your house power instead of generators
Centralize or distribute energy wherever you need it – either to Aggreko products or your own equipment
Save space by reducing the amount of equipment on your site

Example of an Electrical Distribution Solution
The power distribution system depicted in the drawing begins with a 12.47kV utility power source, which feeds into a 15kV load break switch. This switch acts as a critical safety device, allowing for the safe interruption of power flow for maintenance or emergency situations. The power then travels via 15kV cables to a 2500kVA transformer, which steps down the voltage from 12.47kV to 480/277V to suit the requirements of the customer's equipment.
From the transformer, the power is directed to a 3000A switchboard, which serves as the central hub for further distribution and provides additional circuit protection. The switchboard supplies power through 480V cables to various loads, including a mini power zone, a 6-pack welder, and a heat stress machine. This organized distribution solution ensures that each load receives a stable and controlled electrical supply, enhancing operational efficiency and safety across the entire system.
- Zero reliance on diesel generators
- Zero fuel requirements
- Zero diesel emissions
- 100% electricity sourced from existing electrical grid
- Significant cost savings compared to generators with fuel and maintenance
