With the launch of our Greener Upgrades initiative, Aggreko has made a multi-million-dollar investment in low-emission technology and sustainability services. Latest low-emission technology innovation investments: 

Tier 4 Final generators

Specifically designed to enable greener energy, our Tier 4F generators comply with the most stringent requirements set out by the Canadian Environmental Protection Act (CEPA) for diesel engines, in alignment with those of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA).

They operate the same way as the cleanest car engines, limiting carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter to provide efficient, low-carbon power. The innovative new fleet will deliver a 98% reduction in the volume of particulates and 96% of the NOx gases expelled compared to the basic engines in older generators. Also, CO2 emissions can be reduced by minimizing fuel consumption and utilizing environmentally friendly biofuels.
