The Challenge

Keeping 275,000 fans cool, comfortable, and connected

With over a quarter of a million fans set to descend on Miami for three days of high-octane racing at the 2025 FORMULA® 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX, the stakes couldn’t have been higher.

South Florida Motorsports needed to power and cool every corner of the event’s sprawling site, including over 25 hospitality suites, 150 tents, and the 33,000 sq. ft. triple-decker Vista at Turn One.

From the first lap to the final podium, everything from hospitality to broadcasting needed to run flawlessly. That meant no disruptions, fast installation, and reduced fuel use and emissions - all without compromising performance.

As Preferred Energy Solutions Partner for the second year running, we needed to build on the previous year’s success, bringing greater efficiency and reliability to one of the world’s most demanding Motorsport events.

Key Facts

In attendance across the three-day event 275,000 fans
Of energy delivered 20MW

The Solution

Adaptable solutions built for scale, speed, and sustainability

To meet the race’s unique demands, we delivered 20 MW of temporary energy and 2,500 tons of precise temperature control solutions, using 100 miles of cable across nine campus zones. That in cluded deploying custom energy and cooling solutions for the new, high-profile Vista at Turn One.

New for 2025, we introduced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for the first time at the event. Paired with our best-in-class Tier 4 Final generators, this hybrid setup minimized emissions and improved fuel efficiency, lowering environmental impact. HVO-fueled generators and UPS units also powered critical broadcast equipment for uninterrupted global coverage.

Collaborating closely with South Florida Motorsports, our engineers fine-tuned layouts, repositioned generator compounds, and integrated greener technologies early in the build, cutting fuel use and delivering rightsized energy where it was needed.

The Impact

Driving value with world-class event solutions and expertise

Our second year as FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX’S Preferred Energy Solutions Partner, we provided more than just equipment – we pushed the limits of performance, reliability, and sustainability.

Over three high-pressure days, we ensured zero energy failures – keeping fan facing and behind-the-scenes operations running smoothly.

Using Tier 4 Final generators helped Formula 1® meet its environmental targets, reducing particulate matter by 99% and NOx by 95%. Battery storage and HVO fueled generators cut fuel use and emissions, proving that cleaner energy can still achieve peak performance.

From tailored designs to custom solutions for high-profile venues, we gave South Florida Motorsports full control across a complex, fast-moving site – powering a smarter, greener Grand Prix that saw our partners shine on the world stage.

We delivered reliable, sustainable energy solutions that powered a seamless, greener FORMULA 1® CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX.
