For the third consecutive year, Miami was gearing up to host one of its largest events: the FORMULA 1 CRYPTO.COM MIAMI GRAND PRIX 2024.

South Florida Motorsports (SFM) anticipated a staggering 275,000 participants over the three-day event, with over three million additional U.S. viewers tuning in from home. SFM’s mission was clear: to ensure every spectator, whether onsite or remote, enjoyed an unparalleled experience.

Delivering an experience of this magnitude demanded a meticulously planned and executed power and cooling system. Over 18 hospitality structures and 200 food and beverage venues had to be seamlessly integrated into the event space. Additionally, the weekend included multiple high-profile entertainment activations, all of which had to run smoothly despite Miami’s notoriously hot weather.

To meet these challenges head-on, reliable energy solutions were imperative to ensure uninterrupted operations throughout the event. Effective cooling systems were also essential to keep both participants and equipment from succumbing to the high temperatures and humid weather.
